Lessons and Workshops

Whether you want to learn to set stones or texture metal with etching, I can help.

Class sizes are kept small (4 students max) to ensure each participant has the tools and equipment they need, and individualized attention from me.

Workshops: One day (6 hours) Intro to Jewelry (Stones or Etching).  These can be booked to fit to your schedule and is the perfect entry point if you’re interested in learning more about making jewelry (and a pre-requisite for lessons)

Lessons: Lessons meet over 4 weeks for a total of 12 hours.  Go deeper into the processes and techniques of making jewelry.  You can sign up in 4 week increments with a focus on stone-setting, or 4 weeks on etching or a combination of both.

GEM

The "Guided Experience Making" custom jewelry (GEM) was born out of a desire to help others experience the catharsis that comes from creating something with your own two hands and heart- imbuing it with your love and emotion.

This is not a jewelry making workshop.

It’s custom jewelry with a bit of a twist, because you will be there right along side me, making design decisions in real time.  You can do as much or as little of the actual making as you feel comfortable (though it’s always fun to use the torch!)

Through this collaborative experience, you will give yourself the time and space to both process the strong emotions associated with loss, grief, joy and transition, as well as create a vessel for those memories and feelings.

It's hands-on, in person custom jewelry.  For more information on the experience, please contact me.
