AKA Everything You've Ever Wanted to Know About Jewelry But Were Afraid to Ask, this 6 hour introductory class meets at your convenience and includes overview of the studio, explanation of the tools and safety around using them, and how to saw, cut, file, and solder.
There are two class options to get you started (and yes, you can take both! There will be some overlap with the studio and safety overview, but you will learn different things in each)
Introduction to Etching, where you will learn how to etch a piece to make a pendant or pin.
and
Introduction to Stone Setting where participants will learn to saw out a flower shape and then bezel set a cabochon to create a pendant or pin.
