I can always turn to Rumi when I'm looking for a quote to uplift and inspire. This tiny book features an etched bird on the front and a beautiful aquamarine set in 22k gold. I intentionally left the solder on the outside of the bezel, because why hide the extra gold?!
Etched with the poem:
"Your hand opens and closes, opens and closes. If it were always a fist or always stretched open, you would be paralysed*.
Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated** as birds' wings."
Pendant measures just under 1.25" long a 7/8" wide on a 20" textured cable chain with handmade clasp.
*The word "paralysed" is the English (UK) spelling.
**It wasn't until I was editing photos that I realized I misspelled "coordinated". It is spelled "corrdinated" on the pendant! I have adjusted the price accordingly.
