Just keep going...
We’ve made it to March. For me, that means melting, mush and mud. It can be a bit of a yucky scene in Vermont, but it can also be glorious as the days grow longer and the temperatures warm up.
I’m still doing a fair bit of ostriching. I’m finding the news hard to bear, but turning instead to the radical joy of creating, and sharing my art with you.
I made a book this week that kind of encapsulates my feelings perfectly with a quote by Rainer Maria Rilke.
"Let everything happen to you.
Beauty and terror.
Just keep going.
No feeling is final"
This is a quote I come back to again and again in times of stress. “Just keep going” becomes my mantra.
