A Big THANK YOU!
After my email last week, I promptly packed up and left for the Paradise City Arts Festival in Northampton MA. I was with my wonderful "assistant", my mom! We had a great time together at the show (despite the cold) and the weekend ended with a huge rainbow.
But I wanted you to know how much your support means to me. I was completely overwhelmed (in the BEST way!) by the response to the last email about Poppy Studio, and the number of you who bought a brick or sent donations. If I haven't sent a personal email to thank you yet, please know it's coming as I work through the orders.
And I have to make more bricks! I had only made a handful, as I wasn't sure how they would be received, but I was blown away with the number of you that ordered one. I'm excited to make another batch (and I'll make extra this time!)
When you receive your brick, you'll see a small number on the back- that's the order the order was received, and my way of keeping track of the number of bricks in my new foundation! I thought that was a fun little addition 😊
Tomorrow, Saturday October 19th is my first "official" day at Poppy Studio. Another local business is celebrating their 2 year anniversary, so there's going to be a party (complete with a bounce house!). Seems like the perfect day to get my feet wet (in the figurative sense. It's supposed to be sunny and gorgeous tomorrow!) There are still some finishing touches (and the walls need some artwork!) but I'll be there, making bricks!
Once again, my heartfelt gratitude goes out to each and every one of you. Thank you for supporting me and giving me such a boost of confidence and assurance that I'm heading in the right direction.
