Sweets from my sweet, February 15, 2023

Happy Wednesday
It is probably clear from the timing of this email that I missed Valentines day. I typically miss it, because I tend to be in Arizona for the Tucson Gem Show in late January/early February which is right in Valentines Day prep time.
So, this is an anti-Valentine, (or, to be less dramatic and negative, a post- Valentines day message.)
I feel like we should celebrate love all the time, not just one day a year. I'm way more into an unexpected sweet treat, rather than the expectation (and pressure) of THE DAY.
Did you "do" Valentines day? My husband and I say that we don't celebrate, yet he tends to surprise me with treats every year (like the decadent box of donuts that delivered on Sunday.)

Then again, he surprises me with little treats in the studio all the time. Today when I opened my light box to take photos of some jewelry, there was a bag of cheetos hidden in there. A few weeks ago I opened a drawer and found a fancy chocolate wrapped in gold foil. A kit kat left under a miniature window on the dollhouse I'm working on. Sometimes I'll reach into an apron pocket and find a rice crispie treat, a bag of M and M's, a pouch of chips

These surprises always put a smile on my face and give me a warm happy feeling.
So I have an unexpected little surprise for you, which I hope will give you that same happy feeling: I've got a variety of work on sale on my site, including a few lockets that I've marked down by $100! Yep, that's right, 100 big ones.
I had such a great time in Tucson, and I've come home feeling inspired by what I saw and purchased out west. I've got all sorts of ideas for new pieces, and I'd love to clear out the proverbial shelves so they're ready for new work.
No discount code needed, I've updated all the listings with the sale prices.
Love you all so very much. Thanks for being here!
