Join me at Ghost Ranch, Abiquiú NM — September 2023!

I am so excited to announce that I will be teaching at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiú, New Mexico in September 2023!

I will be joining Lesley Riley for one of her Red Thread Retreats. Lesley is a workshop leader, writer, and mentor who focuses on motivating, inspiring, and empowering her students to take their creative life into their own hands — while encouraging risk-taking, thinking outside the box, and breaking rules! (I can attest to this, because I’ve had the pleasure of having Lesley as both mentor and teacher!)

Together, we will be making an etched book cover (that’s where I come in), and then Lesley will inspire you with ideas, techniques, and inspiration for collage and color to enhance your pages. Don’t be surprised if she has some unexpected fun planned as well!

Over the course of four (fantastic) days, your book will develop into a lasting memory of time spent with friends old and new, enchanted by the magic that the Ghost Ranch Red Thread retreat creates.

The retreat cost is all-inclusive (except for a small materials fee for the book), and registration is now open! There are limited single rooms available — but if you miss out, you can bring a friend and room together, or meet a new creative pal!

This will be my third visit to Ghost Ranch, and my first as an instructor. Ghost Ranch is an immensely special place — so magical that the area got its hooks into Georgia O’Keeffe, who spent the last four decades of her life there. Each time I’ve been, it’s inspired me and renewed my spirit. It’s hard to put into words just how special it is… so here are some photos!
